Ginevra O'Sullivan

Occupational Therapist

Ginevra studied Bsc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and graduated from Brunel University in 2001.  After spending the first few years of her career working across adult community and inpatient services, in 2008 she specialised as a Paediatric OT.  Within this role Ginevra worked with young children with DCD (Developmental Coordination Disorder) as well as working as part of a Pre-school Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) assessment team based within Child Development Centres.  It was during her work as a Paediatric OT that Ginevra became more aware of the impact of SI differences which led her to start her formal SI training in 2011. From 2011 to 2014 Ginevra completed SI modules 1-4, and in 2019 completed her Post Graduate Diploma in SI (University of Ulster).

Alongside her work as a paediatric OT within the NHS, Ginevra spent 3 years working as an SI OT within a special school for children with moderate to severe learning disabilities.

For the last 5 years Ginevra has worked within a youth autism diagnostic service for 11-18 year olds, and is a trained ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) clinician.

Ginevra is passionate about working with young people to enable them to play, have fun, learn and achieve, so they can positively and confidently manage any challenges they may face.
