Annie and Emma are pleased to be working with the Sensory Integration Network and have recently contributed 2 case study posters to help with the awareness of The effectiveness of Sensory Integration Treatments. Emma has also put together a case study to critically explore the complexities of the overlapping disorders of hypermobility and anxiety in the Developmental Co-ordination Disorder (DCD) population. Occupational Therapy Show 2013 – Emma was speaking at Occupational Therapy 2013, located at the NEC, Birmingham on the 26th & 27th November 2013.

Emma appeared on stage on the 27th of November 2013 talking about The Bendy Study – MDT approach to children with hypermobility. When Emma was in her role as NHS OT Emma completed a research study on the effects of an MDT approach to children with hypermobility – Emma was the clinical OT who provided the assessment and treatment. Emma has co-published three systematic literature reviews regarding hypermobility and has been involved in the publishing of the research study data.
